Resetting the router is very simple process. You just need to press and hold the reset button long enough. But sometimes you face AT&T router reset not working. Usually reset helps you resolve any issue the router is having, let’s see how to fix reset. Steps to fix router reset:
Unplug the power cords of the router and the modem.
Give them a rest of at least 30 seconds.
Now, plug the modem back.
Wait for another minute to plug the router.

Since the router reset erases all your previous settings, it is recommended that you note down the existing router settings on a notepad which you can refer to later while reconfiguring the device. To do this, you need to log in to the router admin console using the ATT Router IP address, the username, and the login password. To start with the process, connect the router to your computer using either an Ethernet cable or wireless medium. Once the router and your computer establish a connection, follow the below-mentioned steps to log into the router admin console and note down the router settings:
Open an internet browser on your computer.
Type 192.168.1.1 in the browser’s address bar and press Enter to open the router login page.
Enter the username and password in the required fields, and click on ‘Login’.
Once you are logged into the router admin console, you can click on the various tabs and note down the settings on your notepad.
